PC Downs Longwood at Home

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's soccer team used a goal in each half to down Longwood on Saturday afternoon at Martin Stadium.

How it Happened

Mason Lewis scored his seventh goal of the season in the final minutes of the first half. Sergio Pinto found Lewis, who then got around the keeper and scored into an open net. Cade Crow scored an insurance goal in the 87th minute after the goalkeeper lost control of the ball.

Man of the Match

Connor Behrend earned the clean sheet while recording 11 saves in the game.

Stat of the Game

Head coach Jonathan Potter becomes the first men's soccer coach to lead the team to at least five wins in a season since making the move to Division I.

Record

PC improves to 5-7-1 overall and 3-1-0 in Big South play, while Longwood falls to 4-8-1 overall and 1-3-0 in conference action.
