PC Falls on Late Goal on Senior Night

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's soccer team fell on a late goal to UNC Asheville at Senior Night at Martin Stadium.

How it Happened

The Bulldogs took the lead in the 32ns minute of action when Asheville scored over the head of PC goalkeeper Connor Behrend from about 10 yards out. Sergio Pinto tied the game in the 81st minute after an Asheville foul inside their own box gave the Blue Hose a penalty kick. However, three minutes later the Bulldogs struck again on a header and held on for the 2-1 victory.

Record

PC falls to 6-8-2 overall and 4-2-0 in Big South play, while Asheville improves to 6-11-0 overall and 6-2-0 in conference action.

Up Next

The Blue Hose will travel to Liberty on Saturday Oct. 29 for an 11:30 a.m. kickoff.
