SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's soccer fell at USC Upstate Monday evening 1-0.
How it Happened
The Spartans started off the scoring in the 18th minute when Cam Philpot scored from about 10 yards out in front of the goal. Athletic plays from both the PC and USC Upstate keepers halted the scoring from then on.
Man of the Match
Freshman goalkeeper Christian Evans recorded eight saves in his second career game.
Stat of the Game
Sergio Pinto led the team in shots with two.
Record
PC falls to 0-2-0, while USC Upstate moves to 1-0-0.
