Clinton, S.C. -  The Presbyterian College men's tennis team won their pair of home openers on Sunday, defeating Chattanooga and Coastal Georgia. The Blue Hose beat the Mocs 5-2 in the first match and then upended the Mariners 6-1 in the second half of the twin bill.

PC took the doubles point from Chattanooga after Nicholas McKinney and Alberto Conde and Daniel Stenger and Oscar Alvarez picked up wins at numbers three and one, respectively.

Jaime Castillo-Lopez, McKinney, and Max Benson finished their singles' matches first and clinched victory for the Blue Hose. Castillo-Lopez won 7-5, 6-4 at number five, McKinney won 6-4, 6-3 at number four, and Benson won 6-3, 6-4 at number three. Stenger, playing at number two, earned a 6-3, 6-2 victory. Each doubles pairing competed once more against Coastal Georgia, with the Blue Hose taking all three matches and the first point of the set. Jonathan Bedard and Elias Svensson earned wins in the number five and six singles, respectively. Benson and McKinney both earned their second singles win of the day against the Mariners.
