Box Score CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College volleyball team improved to 4-1 at home, sweeping Hampton 3-0 (25-17, 25-12, 26-24) on Friday night in Big South Conference action. The Blue Hose improve to 10-10 overall and 4-2 in conference play, while the Lady Pirates slip to 6-11 overall and 1-5 in the Big South.

Notables
- Sophomore Erin Cooke led Presbyterian with 10 kills on a .286 hitting percentage. She also tallied nine assists, four service aces and four digs.
- Fellow sophomore Lauren Talbert chipped in seven kills, while sophomore Trinity Williams and junior Allie Wright added five apiece. Williams also registered nine digs.
- Junior Sierra Jones handed out a match-high 16 assists.
- Senior Erin Eulitz dug up a match-high 17 balls.
- PC enjoyed a 13-6 advantage in service aces and a 6-4 edge in blocks.

How it Happened
- Hampton started off strong in the first set, opening up an early 4-1 edge. Trailing 9-5, PC ripped off eight in a row and 15 of the next 17 points to seize control and eventually take the opening set.
- Presbyterian claimed the first three points of the second set, and used an 8-1 run to build a 14-6 lead. A 6-0 spurt ballooned the advantage to 20-7, and the Blue Hose cruised to a two-set edge from there.
- The Lady Pirates tallied the first six points of the third set, and stayed in front until a four-point spurt by PC evened it up at 9-9. The Blue Hose briefly led at 13-12, but Hampton rattled off the next four in a row to wrestle the advantage back at 16-13. Down 20-17, Presbyterian mounted a charge, taking the next five points to go up, 22-20. Hampton drew level again at 24-24, but back-to-back kills by Wright sealed the match for the Blue Hose.
