This will be the first meeting between Presbyterian College and William Peace.

Last Time Out
Trinity Johnson paced the Blue Hose with 14 points in a 40-56 loss against West Virginia. Tess Santos added a season-best eight points and connected on 2-5 (.400) threes. The Mountaineers dominated the glass, out rebounding PC 51-21. The Blue Hose won the turnover battle, 15-26, and recorded more steals, 9-4, as well as points off turnovers, 16-12.

Up Next
Presbyterian travels for an SEC matchup against Florida in Gainesville on Monday, November 18. The game will tip at 10:30 am and is "Field Trip Day" for the Gators. Florida picked up a 71-54 win over Longwood on Sunday, November 10.

Starting Strong
Sophomore Bria Gibbs scored 14 points in the season opener against SC State and was a perfect 6-of-6 from the field. Last season, the forward averaged 5.3 ppg but was one of only two players to post a double-double as Gibbs recorded 23 pts and 13 rbs in a home win against SC State (11/20/18).

Above .500
Presbyterian (1-1) has a chance to move to 2-1 on Wednesday for the first time in its Division I history. The program has been 2-2 on four previous occasions but not since the 2014-15 season. PC has finished the year above .500 on three occasions: 2012-13 (19-12, 14-4), 2014-15 (16-15, 10-10) and 2015-16 (18-13, 13-7).

A Good Trend
Despite the loss, PC recorded nine steals to West Virginia's four and scored 16 points off 26 Mountaineer turnovers while only allowing 12 points off 15 turnovers.

Cleaning the Glass
After out rebounding SC State in the season opener, 36-29, Presbyterian was outshined by West Virginia, 51-21. The 51 rebounds allowed to the Mountaineers were the most by an opponent since High Point pulled down 53 on March 10, 2017.

Keep An Eye On
Trinity Johnson led the team with 15.7 points, 3.1 assists and 31.6 minutes per game over the final 10 games of last season. Over that span, she also had 4.3 rebounds per game and sank 75-99 free throws (.750).

Big South Honors
Kacie Hall was named to the Big South Preseason All-Conference Second Team. The senior guard averaged 12.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game last year while leading the Big South with a .415 three-point field goal percentage.

New Faces
Head Coach Alaura Sharp added seven new players to the roster by the way of two transfers and five freshmen. Jade Compton (Hill College) is a junior, while Alessia Capley (Otero JC) is a sophomore. Shariah Gaddy, Kaitlyn Keathley, Le'Mesha Madden, Georgia Stockton and Tionna Carter are true freshmen. Redshirt sophomore Briley Buckner has also returned from an injury that kept her from playing last season.

Milestones Ahead
Kacie Hall has 157 career three pointers and needs 38 more to catch 4th place, Janie Miles (2014-18). The senior guard also needs 106 points to reach 1000.
