Volleyball Wraps Up Regular Season at Radford, High Point

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College volleyball team concludes its regular season with a pair of road matches at Radford on Friday and at High Point on Saturday.

Last Time Out...
The Blue Hose dropped their only match last weekend, falling in five sets at Charleston Southern. In the setback, Allie Wright set a PC DI era single-match record with 10 blocks (2 solo blocks, 8 block assists). Despite the loss, Presbyterian clinched its first berth in the Big South Conference Championship since 2014, and fourth since joining the league in 2008.
 
Scouting the Highlanders...
Radford enters the weekend tied with Charleston Southern for sixth in the Big South standings. The Blue Hose swept the Highlanders in Clinton earlier this season, thanks in large part to an efficient attack which hit .324 for the match. Radford senior Stephanie Neast had a team-high six kills in the contest, and leads the Highlanders with 259 (3.0/set) this season.
 
Scouting the Panthers...
High Point has won six of its last seven overall since suffering its lone conference setback at Winthrop on Oct. 18, and is locked into the number two seed for the Big South Conference Championship. The Panthers beat the Blue Hose in four sets in Clinton earlier this season, led by freshman Megan Kratzer's match-high 14 kills. HPU junior libero Abby Bottomley leads the conference with 566 total digs and 5.6 digs/set this season.
