Last Time Out
Trinity Johnson tied the PC Division I single-game record with 30 points against UNCW on December 4 by shooting 10-13 (.769) from the floor and connecting on 3-of-3 from beyond the 3-point line while handing out a team-high four assists. She also pulled down six rebounds and swiped four steals.

Big South Player of the Week
Trinity Johnson was named the Big South Player of the Week on December 9 after her 30-point performance against UNCW that saw the guard account for half of PC's offense. Johnson previously was named the Freshman of the Week during the 2018-19 season (March 10) after back-to-back games with 24 points.

Up Next
Presbyterian opens Big South play with 2 pm road games at UNC Asheville (Dec. 28) and Radford (Dec. 31).

Series History | Last Matchup
Presbyterian leads the series 2-0, picking up double-digit wins in 2012 and 2015. In the last meeting, Brevard held a 16-11 lead after the first quarter thanks to 53.8 percent (7-13) shooting from the floor in the first, but the Blue Hose stormed back to outscore the Tornados 21-6 in the second and cruised to a 70-53 win at the Templeton Center.

Scouting Report
Brevard lost to Berea on December 14, 88-50. Freshman Mekinda Martin scored a collegiate-best 12 points, while junior Destiny Williams added 11 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Junior Deja Riddick leads the Tornados with 10.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game.

Feeling Grinchy
When UNCW sank eight free throws in the final minute to finish 13-23 (.565), they not only staved off a PC rally, the Seahawks also broke a six-game streak where opponents failed to surpass 10 made free throws. The Blue Hose will look to get back to their grinchy ways and keep Brevard off the charity stripe on Saturday.

Trinity Johnson is third in scoring (16.3), second in field goal percentage (.532), 13th in assists (2.8), second in free throw percentage (.800), second in steals (3.0) and first in 3-pt field goal percentage (.583). New Faces
Head Coach Alaura Sharp added seven new players by the way of two transfers and five freshmen. Redshirt sophomore Briley Buckner has also returned from an injury that kept her from playing last season.

Milestones Ahead
Kacie Hall has 169 career three pointers and needs 28 more to catch 4th place, Janie Miles (2014-18). The senior guard also needs 58 points to reach 1000.
