Trinity Johnson scored a game-high 18 points to lead PC to a 74-45 win over Brevard on December 21. It was the fifth consecutive game the sophomore led PC and seventh time this season. Bria Gibbs (12 pts) and Jade Compton (10 pts) also finished in double figures. Presbyterian connected on a season-high 22 free throws and tied their DI best with 35 attempts.

Big South Player of the Week
Trinity Johnson was named the Big South Player of the Week on December 9 after her 30-point performance against UNCW that saw the guard account for half of PC's offense. Johnson previously was named the Freshman of the Week during the 2018-19 season (March 10) after back-to-back games with 24 points.

Trinity Johnson is third in scoring (16.4), second in field goal percentage (.522), 10th in assists (2.9), 6th in free throw percentage (.736), second in steals (2.7) and first in 3-pt field goal percentage (.577). Jade Compton ranks second in rebounds (7.1) and defensive rebounds (4.9). Kacie Hall ranks ninth in assists (3.1) and third in assist/turnover ratio (1.8).

Keep An Eye On
Trinity Johnson led the team with 15.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 31.6 minutes per game over the final 10 games of last season. Over that span, she also sank 75-99 free throws (.750). Johnson (16.4 ppg) has led the team in scoring seven times this season and in five straight games.

New Faces
Head Coach Alaura Sharp added seven new players by the way of two transfers and five freshmen. Redshirt sophomore Briley Buckner has also returned from an injury that kept her from playing last season.
