Box Score DAVIDSON, N.C. – Sophomore Erin Cooke registered her third double-double of the season, but the Presbyterian College volleyball team fell 3-1 (22-25, 25-14, 25-11, 25-15) to UNCW at the Davidson Invitational on Saturday morning at Baker Sports Complex. The Blue Hose drop to 2-7, while the Seahawks climb to 8-1.

Notables
-Cooke paced the PC attack with a match-high 12 kills on a team-best .375 hitting percentage. She also collected 10 assists.
-Freshman Gracie Davis recorded nine kills, while sophomore Trinity Williams added seven.
-Junior Sierra Jones handed out a team-leading 21 assists. Both Cooke and Jones have picked up double-digit assists in all nine PC matches this season.
-Senior Erin Eulitz notched double-figure digs for the eighth straight contest, registering 17. Sophomore Lauren Talbert added 10 digs, her third double-digit output of the season.

How it Happened
-The first set was tight early, but a 5-0 run put the Blue Hose on top, 13-9. The Seahawks drew within a point on multiple occasions, including at 23-22, but a kill and then ace by Cooke sealed the opening set for PC.
-In the second set, a 5-0 spurt put UNCW ahead, 11-5. Leading 18-12, the Seahawks closed out the second set with a 7-2 run, evening the contest at a set apiece.
-UNCW rode the momentum into the third set, tallying the first four points on the way to a 10-3 advantage. Later in the set, a 5-0 Seahawks' run built the lead to 22-9, ending the threat of a PC comeback.
-With UNCW ahead 9-6 in the fourth set, a five-point spurt upped the Seahawks' lead to 14-6. From there, the Blue Hose could not draw any closer than six for the remainder of the contest.
