Box Score EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Sophomores Erin Cooke and Trinity Williams each registered double-doubles to lead the Presbyterian College volleyball team to a 3-1 victory (25-19, 25-19, 25-27, 25-23) over SIUE on Saturday afternoon at the Cougar Classic. The Blue Hose improve to 5-8 on the season, while the Cougars slip to 5-6.

Notables
- Â Williams notched a career-best 20 kills to lead all players, and added 17 digs for her third straight double-double. The three double-doubles for Williams this weekend were the first three of her collegiate career.
- Cooke also set a career-high with 18 kills for the afternoon, and handed out 22 assists. The sophomore led PC with a .515 hitting percentage.
- Junior Allie Wright notched a season-high 11 kills while hitting .381, and added a match-high six blocks.
- Senior Erin Eulitz led all players with 22 digs, while junior Sierra Jones tied her career-high with 34 assists, and pitched in nine digs.
- Junior Caroline Henderson registered seven kills and nine digs.
- As a team, the Blue Hose posted a season-best .285 hitting percentage.

How it Happened
- With the first set even at 9-9, SIUE rattled off five points in a row to open up a 14-9 edge. A pair of 4-0 runs helped PC climb back in front, 19-17, before the Blue Hose iced the set with a 6-1 spurt.
- Presbyterian began the second set with a 12-7 advantage, but the Cougars rallied to take a 17-16 lead. The Blue Hose responded with a 9-2 run to clinch the set.
- PC raced out to a 6-0 start in the third set. Leading 24-20, the Blue Hose were on the verge of a sweep, but the Cougars rallied to tie it up at 24-24, and eventually claimed the set, 27-25.
- SIUE rode the momentum into the start of the fourth set, jumping on top 7-1. Runs of 5-0 and 4-0 got PC back within striking distance, and the Blue Hose eventually went in front, 22-21. The Cougars tied it up, 22-22, before Presbyterian tallied the final three points to secure victory.
