Box Score MOREHEAD, Ky. – The Presbyterian College volleyball team fell 3-0 (27-25, 25-23, 25-18) to Morehead State on Friday at Johnson Arena in the opening match of the Eagle Challenge.

Notables
-Sophomores Erin Cooke and Lauren Talbert had eight kills apiece to lead the attack for the Blue Hose. Cooke also chipped in 11 assists and seven digs.
-Junior Allie Wright notched seven kills on a team-best .357 hitting percentage, and also paced PC with a season-best six blocks. As a team, PC recorded a season-high 10 blocks.
-Junior Sierra Jones handed out a team-high 16 assists, giving her 976 for her career, sixth-most in PC's DI era (2007-present).
-Senior Erin Eulitz posted double-digit digs for the third consecutive match, registering a match-high 18. Eulitz is 21 digs shy of moving into fifth in PC's DI era record book for career digs.
-Sophomore Samantha Stanko chipped in a pair of digs off of the Blue Hose bench in her collegiate debut.

How it Happened
-PC held an 18-14 advantage in the opening set, but a four-point run by Morehead State evened the score at 18-18. Presbyterian led again at 23-21, but a quick three-point spurt put the Eagles on the brink of claiming the first set. The Blue Hose fought off a pair of set points, before the hosts eventually claimed the opener.
-The Blue Hose responded well to start the second set, getting out to a 13-7 lead. MSU used 4-0 and 3-0 runs to tie the set up at 18-18. After a 21-21 deadlock, Morehead State tallied four of the next six points to take a two-set advantage into the break.
-An early four-point spurt in the third set gave the Eagles an 11-6 edge. PC drew within two on four separate occasions, but an 8-3 run clinched the set and victory for MSU.

The Blue Hose (1-3) continue play at the Eagle Challenge on Friday afternoon as they take on Providence at 4:30. PC then concludes its weekend against Georgia State on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
