COACH RINCON ON THE WEEKEND
"We're very glad the spring season is finally here," said first-year head coach Eduardo Rincon. "The team enjoyed its best week of practice so far this year, and they are excited and looking forward to the challenge. Charlotte and Samford are both really strong programs, and I am sure they will both be great matches."

THE OPPONENTS
The Blue Hose are 2-5 in the DI era against the 49ers, including a 6-1 defeat in Charlotte to begin the 2019 season. PC has played Samford each of the last two years, falling in both contests.

LAST TIME OUT
Presbyterian brings back all nine players from last year's 11-14 squad which went 5-3 in the Big South to finish fourth in the conference standings. Among the nine returners are reigning Big South Freshman of the Year Max Benson and Jaime Castillo-Lopez, who enters his senior season just outside the top-10 in career singles and doubles wins in the school's DI era.

The Blue Hose competed in five fall tournaments, with Benson and incoming freshman Teo Cariov each claiming a singles title at the South Carolina Men's Collegiate Tennis Championships in October.
