These teams last met on March 6, where GWU picked up a 67-62 win at Paul Porter Arena. Three Blue Hose finished in double-figures with Trinity Johnson leading the way with 18 points. Savannah Plentovich scored a game-high 22 points.

Scouting Report
Gardner-Webb is 2-3 in their last five games and fell to Campbell, 48-44, on Thursday night. On the season, Carley Plentovich leads the team with 15.8 ppg and leads the Big South with a .432 3pt FG percentage.

Milestones Ahead
Kacie Hall needs eight more points to reach 1000 for her career. The senior guard also needs 17 three pointers to move into a tie for 4th place in PC's record books with Janie Miles (2014-18) at 197.

Big South Rankings
Trinity Johnson is fifth in scoring (15.2), sixth in FG percentage (.434), 10th in assists (2.8), fifth in FT percentage (.753) and second in steals (2.8). Jade Compton ranks seventh in rebounds (6.2). Kacie Hall ranks 11th in assists (2.7) and 3pt FG percentage (.289). Tionna Carter ranks eighth in blocked shots (0.8).

Jade Compton recorded the team's first double-double of the season with a game-high 21 points and 12 rebounds in a home loss to Longwood on January 4. The junior forward has a pair of +20 point performances and double-figure rebounds in three games.

Big South Player of the Week
Trinity Johnson was named the Big South Player of the Week on December 9 after her 30-point performance against UNCW that saw the guard account for half of PC's offense. Johnson previously was named the Freshman of the Week during the 2018-19 season (March 10) after back-to-back games with 24 points.

New Faces
Head Coach Alaura Sharp added seven new players by the way of two transfers and five freshmen. Redshirt sophomore Briley Buckner has also returned from an injury that kept her from playing last season.
