High Point leads the series 20-6 and has won the last three meetings. The teams last met in Clinton on February 26, 2019, where the Panthers edged PC 70-63. The Blue Hose won the second half but could not overcome a 19-point first half deficit. Trinity Johnson led a trio of PC players in double-figures with 19 points.

Scouting Report
High Point picked up a 76-69 win in Longwood on Saturday afternoon to extend their win streak to two games. Skyler Curran sank six three pointers and scored a game-high 24 points, while Zaria Wright added 20 points in the win.

The Panthers have the 2nd ranked offense in the Big South (65.5 ppg) but 10th ranked defense (69.4 ppg). Their average of +10 threes per game leads the Big South by nearly three baskets over second place (Campbell, 7.4).

Curran averages a league-best 16.8 ppg and shoots 44-144 (.306) from three-point land. Camryn Brown (14.3 ppg) is a team-best 42-115 (.365) from behind the arc. Curran (44) and Brown (42) rank first and second in the Big South for made three pointers this season.

Milestones Ahead
Kacie Hall needs six more points to reach 1000 for her career. The senior guard also needs 17 three pointers to move into a tie for 4th place in PC's record books with Janie Miles (2014-18) at 197.

Welcome Back Stafford
Sophomore Shamani Stafford started the season nursing a minor injury and averaged 1.0 point and 3.3 minutes over nine appearances. Over the last two games, the guard averaged 8.5 points and 26.5 minutes, which is above her career average (7.6 / 21.5).

Big South Rankings
Trinity Johnson is sixth in scoring (14.6), fourth in FG percentage (.432), eighth in assists (3.0), fifth in FT percentage (.738), second in steals (2.9) and ninth in assist/turnover ratio (0.8). Jade Compton ranks 13th in rebounds (5.6). Kacie Hall ranks 11th in assists (2.5). Tionna Carter ranks 11th in blocked shots (0.7) while Bria Gibbs ranks 14th (0.6). 

Double-Double
Jade Compton recorded the team's first double-double of the season with a game-high 21 points and 12 rebounds in a home loss to Longwood on January 4. The junior forward has a pair of +20 point performances and double-figure rebounds in three games.

Big South Player of the Week
Trinity Johnson was named the Big South Player of the Week on December 9 after her 30-point performance against UNCW that saw the guard account for half of PC's offense. Johnson previously was named the Freshman of the Week during the 2018-19 season (March 10) after back-to-back games with 24 points.

New Faces

Head Coach Alaura Sharp added seven new players by the way of two transfers and five freshmen. Redshirt sophomore Briley Buckner has also returned from an injury that kept her from playing last season.
