Trinity Johnson scored a game-high 15 points to go with a collegiate-best six steals, while Tionna Carter nearly recorded her first double-double (10 pts, 9 rbs). However, Radford extended their win streak against PC to seven games, picking up a 54-42 win at the Dedmon Center.

Presbyterian leads 12-7 in the series and swept both games last year, 81-66 and 64-60. Trinity Johnson scored 18 points, including nine free throws in the fourth quarter, to lead PC to the narrow victory at Willett Hall in the last meeting.

Longwood has won three straight games, including an 80-70 win over Gardner-Webb on Saturday, December 28. Since losing 71-54 at Florida on November 10, the Lancers are 5-3 with their three losses coming by a combined nine points. Head Coach Rebecca Tillett was named the Women's Hoop Dirt National Coach of the Week on Tuesday.

Freshman Kyla McMakin ranks second in the Big South at 16.2 ppg, while All-Big South senior Dayna Rouse (15.5) ranks sixth. Longwood is the No. 2 scoring team in the Big South (66.4 ppg) and leads the Conference in field goal percentage (.406) and blocks per game (5.6).

Trinity Johnson is third in scoring (16.0), second in field goal percentage (.455), 12th in assists (2.6), sixth in free throw percentage (.738), second in steals (3.0). Jade Compton ranks seventh in rebounds (6.6) and fourth in defensive rebounds (4.6). Kacie Hall ranks ninth in assists (2.8). Tionna Carter (0.9) ranks eighth in blocked shots.

Big South Player of the Week
Trinity Johnson was named the Big South Player of the Week on December 9 after her 30-point performance against UNCW that saw the guard account for half of PC's offense. Johnson previously was named the Freshman of the Week during the 2018-19 season (March 10) after back-to-back games with 24 points.

New Faces
Head Coach Alaura Sharp added seven new players by the way of two transfers and five freshmen. Redshirt sophomore Briley Buckner has also returned from an injury that kept her from playing last season.

Kacie Hall has 172 career three pointers and needs 25 more to catch 4th place, Janie Miles (2014-18). The senior guard also needs 40 points to reach 1000.
