Jade Compton (32 pts, 10 rbs) and Trinity Johnson (19 pts, 10 rbs) both had double-doubles in PC's 82-77 overtime win at Longwood on Saturday. Compton set a DI program record with her 32-pt performance and hit a big three late in the fourth to force the OT. Longwood's Kyla McMakin scored a game-high 36 points.

Asheville leads the series, 16-12, and has won the previous three meetings. In the Big South opener on December 28, the Bulldogs pulled away in the third quarter to earn a 54-39 win in Asheville. Trinity Johnson and Zip Scott shared game-high honors with 13 points each.

The Bulldogs fell to Big South leader Campbell, 59-52, on Saturday. Nadiria Evans scored 20 points for the fifth time this season, while Sonora Dengoki had 13 points.

Asheville boasts the Big South's second-ranked defense, allowing just 56.5 points per game, and the league's top-ranked rebounding margin (+9.3). The Bulldogs average 42.1 rebounds while allowing just 32.8. Brooke Jordan-Brown leads the Big South with 9.9 rebounds per game, while Nadiria Evans (13.9 ppg) and Sonora Dengoki (12.7 ppg) rank in the top-15 scoring.

Jade Compton had a career game at Longwood on Saturday. The junior sank 12-21 (.571) field goals for 32 points while pulling down 10 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. The 12 made baskets and 32 points were both DI highs for the program, while the 21 attempts ranked second behind 24 attempts from Kacie Hall last season against Charleston Southern.

Sticky Fingers
Trinity Johnson ranks 20th in the nation and 2nd in the Big South with 63 steals through 21 games (3.0 average). The sophomore needs four more to set a PC Division I single-season record.

Free Throws
Trinity Johnson has converted 10 free throws in each of the last two games. The sophomore started 10-10 at USC Upstate last Tuesday before going 10-13 at Longwood on Saturday.

1,000 Career Points
Kacie Hall's fourth quarter three against USC Upstate gave the senior 1,001 career points and sparked a 16-7 run that led the team to a 55-42 win. She became the fifth player in PC's Division I history to reach 1,000 points.

Big South Player of the Week
Trinity Johnson was named the Big South Player of the Week on December 9 after her 30-point performance against UNCW that saw the guard account for half of PC's offense. Johnson previously was named the Freshman of the Week during the 2018-19 season (March 10) after back-to-back games with 24 points.
