Presbyterian Drops Match At Wofford

Spartanburg, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's tennis team was shutout on Saturday afternoon by the score of 7-0 against Wofford. The match was held at Reeves Tennis Center in Spartanburg, S.C. on Saturday.

COACH ROBERTS ON THE MATCH
"The team played very well but unfortunately a few matches did not go our way," commented head coach Joel Roberts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wofford picked up a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles to open the match before earning the doubles point with a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles. The Terriers also won No. 3 doubles at 6-4.
- The hosts picked up a straight set win at No. 4 singles to take a 2-0 lead, before a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles to improve to a 3-0 advantage.
- The hosts earned the match with a 6-4, 6-3 decision at No. 1 singles. Wofford also earned wins at No. 3, 5 and 6 on Saturday.
