Kacie Hall paced four Blue Hose who finished in double-figures with a game-high 19 points. Presbyterian sank nine-of-13 three pointers in the second half to pull away and defeat Charleston Southern, 76-53.

Series History | Last Matchup
Presbyterian leads the all-time series 36-17 and 13-11 since 2008. Gardner-Webb snapped a five-game losing skid in the series by sweeping PC last season. The Blue Hose won the first matchup of the year, 56-53, using a 7-0 run over the final 3:30 to win.

Tionna Carter's turnaround jumper at 1:06 and Alessia Capley's defensive rebound with 0.3 seconds remaining proved to be the deciding factors as PC picked up a 56-53 win at Paul Porter Arena on January 14. Carter scored a collegiate-best 13 points while Capley pulled down a team-high six boards.

Scouting Report
GWU handled High Point on the road, 62-46, on Saturday and has won three straight. Carley Plentovich scored a game-high 25 points on 9-of-14 shooting to go with nine boards as the 'Dogs cruised to the win.

Plentovich averages 14.4 points (8th) on .414 shooting (7th) with 2.6 assists (11th). She leads the Big South in free-throw percentage (.875) and three-point field goal percentage (.401). Her twin, Savannah, also ranks just highly with 12.0 ppg (13th),  3.4 assists (7th), 2.1 steals (4th), an assist/turnover ratio of 1.6 (2nd) and shooting percentage of .366 from distance (3rd).

Gardner-Webb ranks third in the Big South scoring 65.0 ppg, while allowing the fifth-fewest points (63.0 ppg) They lead the League in free throw percentage (.748), 3pt FG % (.329) and 3pt FG % defense (.270). The 'Dogs average 10.1 steals per game, 13.1 offensive rebounds, and 7.5 threes made (2nd in the Big South).

Four Players with +10 Points
Kacie Hall scored a game-high 19 points against Charleston Southern to pace four Blue Hose in double figures: Trinity Johnson (17), Tess Santos (14) and Alessia Capley (12). It was the first time in nearly a calendar year (2/19/19) that PC had four players finish with +10 points.

Program Records
Jade Compton had a career game at Longwood on Feb. 8. The junior sank 12-21 (.571) field goals for 32 points while pulling down 10 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. The 12 made baskets and 32 points were both DI highs for the program, while the 21 attempts ranked second behind 24 attempts from Kacie Hall last season against Charleston Southern.

Sticky Fingers
Trinity Johnson ranks 22nd in the nation and 2nd in the Big South with 65 steals through 22 games (2.83 average). The sophomore needs two more to set a PC Division I single-season record.

1,000 Career Points
Kacie Hall's fourth quarter three against USC Upstate gave the senior 1,001 career points and sparked a 16-7 run that led the team to a 55-42 win. She became the fifth player in PC's Division I history to reach 1,000 points.

Trinity Johnson is sixth in scoring (14.9), 11th in FG percentage (.406), eighth in assists (3.3), seventh in FT percentage (.731), second in steals (65), eighth in assist/turnover ratio (0.8). Jade Compton ranks 10th in rebounds (6.0). Kacie Hall ranks 13th in assists (2.5) and tenth in 3pt FG % (.316). Tionna Carter ranks ninth in blocked shots (0.8). 

Double-Doubles
The Blue Hose have five double-doubles against Big South opponents this season. Jade Compton has three: Longwood (21 pts, 12 rbs / 32 pts, 10 rbs), High Point (13 pts, 10 rbs); Tionna Carter has one: USC Upstate (15 pts, 14 rbs); and Trinity Johnson has one: Longwood (19 pts, 10 rbs).

Big South Player of the Week
Trinity Johnson was named the Big South Player of the Week on December 9 after her 30-point performance against UNCW that saw the guard account for half of PC's offense. Johnson previously was named the Freshman of the Week during the 2018-19 season (March 10) after back-to-back games with 24 points.
