Owls Pull Away Against Blue Hose Lacrosse

Kennesaw, Ga. - Kennesaw State pulled away late in the first half en route to a 22-11 win over the Presbyterian College women's lacrosse team on Saturday afternoon. Sarah Marshall scored three goals to go with an assist to lead the Blue Hose.

Scoring the Game
The Blue Hose took an early 2-1 lead at 26:26 following goals from Abby Edmisten and Marshall. After Kennesaw State went up 3-2 at 24:55, the teams traded goals with Presbyterian tying the game with tallies from Kara DiClemente, Marshall and Madison Berg. Kennesaw State blew open a 5-5 game with a 6-0 run to end the half and led 11-5 headed into the locker room.

Ana Boothe led Presbyterian with two second-half goals while the Blue Hose saw additional goals from Marshall, DiClemente, Ryann Doyle and Edmisten. However, the Owls continued to pull away to the 22-11 win.
