Last Time Out
Tionna Carter registered 20 points and nine rebounds as Presbyterian College defeated Winthrop 88-54. The 88 points were a program best against a Big South opponent. Trinity Johnson added 16 points and nine assists.

Series History | Last Matchup
PC leads the series 13-8 as the teams both picked up road victories this season. The Blue Hose took an 82-77 overtime decision at Willett Hall on February 8, while the Lancers won 71-60 in Clinton on January 4.

Jade Compton (32 pts, 10 rbs) and Trinity Johnson (19 pts, 10 rbs) both registered double-doubles in PC's 82-77 OT win. Compton's 32 points were a program-best, and Johnson added five steals. Longwood's Kyla McMakin hit six three-pointers and scored a game-high 36 points.

Scouting Report
Longwood snapped a seven-game skid to win it's final two regular season games and earn the No. 8 seed with a program-best Big South record of 8-12.

Dayna Rouse became the first Lancer to record 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 100 blocks in her career during the Big South era, and freshman Kyla McMakin became the fourth freshman in Big South history to record 500-plus points in her freshman season.

The Lancer offense is one of the best in the league, averaging 69.1 points per game in league play while having the most efficient offense in the conference with a clip of 41.0 percent. Offense is not all the Lancers bring to the court, though, as they not only leads the conference but ranks eighth in Division I averaging 5.9 blocks per game.

The winner heads to Buies Creek, N.C., to face the No. 1 seed Fighting Camels of Campbell University on Thursday, March 12 in the quarterfinals of the championship.

Dynamic Duo
Tionna Carter and Trinity Johnson combined to score all 31 of PC's second-half points in a tough home loss to High Point. Carter's 28 points and 15 rebounds were collegiate bests and rank fifth in PC's DI era for a single game. Her 13 made baskets set a program record. Johnson was 9-of-11 (.818) from the floor which tied for sixth in PC's DI era for field goal percentage.

Freshman Peaking
Tionna Carter has averaged a team-leading 15.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game over the last six outings which includes three +20 point games and a field goal percentage of 55%.

DI Program Records/Milestones
Trinity Johnson has recorded a program-best 72 steals this season. Jade Compton scored a program-best 32 points against Longwood on February 8. Kacie Hall scored her 1,000th point against USC Upstate on January 25 and sank her 200th career three-pointer against High Point on February 25. Tionna Carter sank a program-best 13 baskets against High Point on February 25.

Milestones Ahead
Trinity Johnson has a DI program-best 74 steals on the season which ties for ninth all-time for PC. Tionna Carter's 25 blocked shots on the year rank 4th for PC's DI era and is eight shy of Shonda Burnside's record of 33 (2012-13).

Nationally Ranked
Trinity Johnson ranks 26th in the nation with 74 steals and 23rd in the nation with an average of 2.64 steals per game. The sophomore surpassed Cortney Storey's previous PC DI record of 66 steals set in 2018.

Free Throw Attempts
Trinity Johnson ranks second in the Big South and 43rd nationally with 170 free throw attempts. She leads the league and ranks 40th nationally with 125 made free throws, for a season average of .735.

Big South Rankings
Trinity Johnson is seventh in scoring (15.0), ninth in FG percentage (.414), sixth in assists (3.8), eighth in FT percentage (.735), second in steals (74), 10th in assist/turnover ratio (0.9). Jade Compton ranks 12th in rebounds (6.1). Kacie Hall ranks 13th in assists (2.4) and ninth in 3pt FG % (.326). Tionna Carter ranks eighth in blocked shots (0.9) and 17th in rebounds (5.5).

Trinity Johnson scored 30 points against UNCW on December 4, while Jade Compton scored 32 points at Longwood on February 8.

Big South Player of the Week
Trinity Johnson was named the Big South Player of the Week on December 9 after her 30-point performance against UNCW that saw the guard account for half of PC's offense. Johnson previously was named the Freshman of the Week during the 2018-19 season (March 10) after back-to-back games with 24 points.
