Presbyterian College is in its 108th season of basketball in 2020-21 ... This season will go down as one of the more unique ones in history, with the COVID-19 Pandemic changing sports schedules around the country ... The Big South Conference created a 20-team round robin this season, with teams playing each other in back-to-back days ... The Blue Hose have already had eight games canceled, and three conference series against Gardner-Webb, UNC Asheville, and USC Upstate postponed ... PC did  pickl up a game against Carver Dec. 14 ...

The Blue Hose travel, who have been idle since Dec. 31, travel to Campbell for a two-game series Jan. 14-15 ... Both games will air on ESPN+, as well as over the radio on WPCC ... 

Campbell leads the series 13-5, but it has been the Blue Hose on top as of late, taking the last two of three meetings ... The two teams splite in 2019-220, wtih PC winning the first, 85-79, and Campbell taking the second, 79-62 ... 

In the last meeting the Camels shot almost 70% in the second half and had an answer for several Blue Hose rallies as Campbell earned the 79-62 win in Buies Creek, N.C., Feb. 8, 2020.

PC is coming off a two-game split with Radford in the last Big South series ...

Game One Recap
Radford rallied from a second half deficit, outscoring PC 22-11 in the final 10-and-a-half minutes to take the come-from-behind, 71-65, win in the first meeting ... Trevon Reddish scored a career-high 24 points to lead PC ...

Game Two Recap
In a back-and-forth game, PC held off a late Radford rally, including a last second Highlander miss, to come away with the 65-63 win in game two to split the series ... Rayshon Harrison led the effort with 13 points, followed by Brandon Younger and Trevon Reddish with 12 points apiece ...


Due to changes in NCAA transfer rules for this season, Trevon Reddish (CofC), and Brandon Younger (UNCC) are now eligible ... They have since played and started in the last four games ... Winston Hill (FMU) became eligible as well, but an injury continues to sideline ...

The first double-double of the season belongs to Owen McCormack ... He posted 19 points and 12 rebounds at The Citadel Dec. 22 ... 

Youth is a theme for the season ... Gone from last year is 66% of the scoring, 59% of the rebounding, and 66% of the assist getters ... 

Youth has stepped up to replace last year's loss ... After six games, newcomers are accounting for three of the top five scorers, all five of the top five rebounders, and four of the top five assists leaders ... Of PC's 424 points, 223 rebounds, and 63 assists so far, newcomers have recorded 289 points, 148 rebounds, and 41 assists ...

Rayshon Harrison has been honored as Big South Freshman of the week three times this season ... In his first collegiate game, against Jacksonville, Rayshon Harrison scored 17 points and pulled down nine rebounds, which earned him the season's first Big South Freshman-of-the-Week honors ... He earned is second after leading the team in scoring against Carver and SC State, averaging 17.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in two contest ... His third honor came after posting his second 20-point game against The Citadel ...

Freshman Rayshon Harrison leads the Blue Hose in scoring. rebounding, three-pointers, assists, steals, and free throws ... He is also the top freshman in the league in scoring rebounding, field goal percentage, free throw percentage, steals, field goals made, and minutes played ... 

Last year, the Blue Hose were young with seven newcomers ... That pales in comparison to the 10 that the team sees this season ...
