TULSA, OK. – The Presbyterian College men's tennis team wrapped up the ITA All-American Championships this past weekend, having some very good results.
Sebastian Dominguez,
Dusan Milanovic, and
Max Benson competed in the Pre-Qualifying Draw. Dusan won 3 matches to qualify for the Qualifying Draw and played 2 matches there. Nick McKinney only played 2 matches in the Qualifying Draw.
Dominguez lost to Tomas Reche of Incarnate Word 6-4, 6-3. In consolation he then beat Phillip Olsson of Omaha 6-2, 2-0 retire in prequalifying consolation.
Benson defeated Zach Garner of UNLV 6-2, 6-2 and Anuj Watane of UNC 7-5, 2-6, 6-2. He then lost to Conor Gannon of Tennessee 4-6, 6-4, 6-0 in the final prequalifying round.
Milanovic defeated Rahul Dhokia of Texas A&M 2-6, 6-4, 10-7. Then he defeated Peter Murphy of UNC 6-1, 1-6, 6-3, then defeated Eban Straker-Meads of Northern Arizona 6-4, 6-2. In Qualifying he lost to Jacob Brumm of Baylor 6-4, 3-6, 6-1. Then beat Liam Krall 7-5, 3-6, 6-3 of SMU in qualifying consolation.
McKinney beat Johannes Seeman of San Diego State 6-2, 6-7, 7-6. Then lost to Toby Samuel of South Carolina 6-3, 6-1 in qualifying 2nd round.
