Presbyterian Begins Three Game Homestand Against Davidson

The Presbyterian Blue Hose begin a three-game homestand with a non-conference game against the Davidson Wildcats at Martin Stadium, Tuesday, October 26 at 7 p.m.

Last Time Out
Presbyterian defeated Longwood, 2-1, on the road last Saturday. In the 36th minute, Ndrin Maloku scored the game-tying goal off an assist from Marshall Dickson. In the 90th minute, Nile Nguidjol scored the game-winning goal off an assist by Jaume Rubio.   The Blue Hose finished the game with an 18-13 advantage in shots.

Goal Scoring Streaks
Maloku scored the game-tying goals and Nguidjol scored the game-winning goals in Presbyterian's last two games both Big South Conference road wins. Maloku, Nguidjol and Cesar Sancho have each scored two goals this season.
 
Four Straight Defensive Player of the Week Awards
A member of the Blue Hose's defensive unit claimed Big South Defensive Player of the Week honors for four straight weeks (Sept 7, 13, 20 and 27). Two weeks ago, sophomore goalkeeper Aidan Montoure captured the award. Sancho earned league Defensive Player of the Week honors in each of the three weeks of September.

Presbyterian's defense has conceded the fewest goals in the Big South Conference this season with a league-low 14 goals allowed.
 
Presbyterian - Davidson Series History
Tuesday's game will be the sixth meeting between Presbyterian and Davidson, who has the won the previous five meeting. Davidson defeated Presbyterian at home, 2-1, in their last meeting, August 26, 2017.

Scouting Davidson
The Wildcats are 8-5-2 on the season after posting a 1-0 road win at George Mason this past Saturday. Vincent Bennage leads Davidson in goals with seven. Davidson has scored 25 goals on the season while conceding 28 goals.
 
Davidson coach Mike Babst is in his third season as the Wildcats head coach.
