Blue Hose Host Gardner-Webb at Martin Stadium

The Presbyterian Blue Hose return to Big South Conference play when they host the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs at Martin Stadium this Saturday, October 30 at 7 p.m.

Last Time Out
Presbyterian lost a tough hard-fought game 1-0 to Davidson at Martin Stadium this past Tuesday. The Blue Hose finished the game with an 8-5 advantage in shots and a 4-2 edge in corner kicks.

Big South Conference Games Goal Scoring Streaks
Ndrin Maloku scored the game-tying goals and Nile Nguidjol scored the game-winning goals in Presbyterian's last two conference games both Big South Conference road wins. Maloku, Nguidjol, and Cesar Sancho have each scored two goals this season.

Big South Player of the Week
This week, Nguidjol became the first player in the Presbyterian men's soccer program's history to earn Big South Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors. A member of the Blue Hose's defensive unit claimed Big South Defensive Player of the Week honors for four straight weeks earlier this season (Sept 7, 13, 20, and 27). Aidan Montoure captured the award in late September. Sancho earned league Defensive Player of the Week honors in each of the first three weeks of September.

Presbyterian's defense has conceded the fewest goals in the Big South Conference this season with a league-low 15 goals allowed. The Blue Hose have held 10 opponents to a goal or less this season
 
Presbyterian – Gardner-Webb Series History
Saturday's game will be the 14th meeting between Presbyterian and Gardner-Webb, who leads the all-time series 11-2. Gardner-Webb defeated Presbyterian, 2-1, in the last meeting which was in Boiling Springs, North Carolina, on March 14, 2021.

The Runnin' Bulldogs are 3-11 on the season with a 2-4 record in the Big South. Sebastian Reventlow, Ryan Madondo, and Aymane Sordo are tied for the team lead with two goals apiece.
