Blue Hose Host Radford on Friday Night

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College volleyball team is back in action hosting Radford on Friday night inside the Templeton Center. The matchup with the Highlanders is slated for a 6 p.m. first serve on Friday.

Last Time Out...
Led by the offensive attack of senior Erin Cooke and freshman Rylee Moorhead, the Presbyterian College volleyball team defeated Charleston Southern (25-20, 15-25, 25-16, 25-15) at the Templeton Center on Tuesday night. Cooke totaled 11 kills, 18 assists, and eight digs, while Moorhead recorded 11 kills, five digs, and a .435 hitting percentage in the win.

Cooke Triple-Doubles...
Senior Erin Cooke has totaled four triple-doubles on the season which is currently tied for the top spot in the nation with Sarah Ciszek from Sacred Heart. Cooke recorded her most recent triple-double against Winthrop with 16 kills, 15 assists and 10 digs.

The Opponent...
Radford comes into play on Friday with a 2-14 mark following a 3-1 setback against N.C. A&T last time out. Offensively, the Highlanders are led by Kennedi Johnson with 127 kills thru Radford's 16 matches. Johnson also leads the team with 54 blocks. Login Williams leads Radford with 306 assists. Grace Green is tops among the Highlanders with 150 digs.

Conference Leaders
The Blue Hose sit atop the conference averaging 2.05 service aces per set through 15 contests this season. PC is led by Rylee Moorhead who leads the team with 28 aces, while Allie Wright has 21 service aces, and Erin Cooke has 20. PC ranks eighth in the nation with that aces per set statistic. Moorhead leads the league with her 28 aces, while Wright checks in at sixth place.

Presbyterian also ranks third in the conference in blocks per set with 2.08/set. Sophomore Hailey Grocholski has a team-high 55 blocks, while Wright has recorded 52 blocks. Cooke is third on the team with 39 blocks.

As a team, PC has held opponents to a .150 hitting percentage on the season which is best in the Big South and ranks 17th nationally.
