Four Straight Defensive Player of the Week Awards
A member of the Blue Hose's stout defensive unit claimed Big South Defensive Player of the Week honors for four straight weeks (Sept 7, 13, 20 and 27). Last week, sophomore goalkeeper Aidan Montoure captured the award. Redshirt junior defender Cesar Sancho earned league Defensive Player of the Week honors in each of the three previous weeks.
 
Blue Hose Statistical Leaders
Sancho and junior forward Mamadu Bah are tied for the team lead with two goals apiece. Sophomore midfielders Nacho Gallego and Jaume Rubio have each scored a goal. Fellow sophomore midfielder Niklas Hoener has dished out two assists this year.

Presbyterian-Winthrop Series History
Saturday's game will be the 24th meeting between Presbyterian and Winthrop, who leads the all-time 17-4-2. Over the last six meetings between the two teams, Presbyterian has posted a 4-0-2 record including a 2-1 double overtime win in their last meeting at Winthrop, November 10, 2019.  

Scouting Winthrop
The Eagles enter the game with a 4-4 overall record and a 1-1 record in the Big South. In league play, Winthrop defeated UNC Asheville, 4-0, and then lost on the road to Longwood, 3-2, in their last game.
