ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (7-6-3) lost to the Winthrop Eagles (8-9-0), 3-0, on the road in the quarterfinals of the Big South Tournament.

COACH POTTER'S THOUGHTS
"It is always tough when your season ends. When we look back on the season, we will see that we did a lot of good things as we continue to move the program forward. It was the first time we have finished the season with a winning record as a Division I program. We had a four-game winning streak as well as a six-match unbeaten streak this season. I would like to thank our seniors for all the hard work and effort they have put into our program."

HOW IT HAPPENED
In the 21st minute, Winthrop's Ethan Stevenson scored off a Christopher Cushing assist.
In the 30th minute, Winthrop's Brigham Larson scored off an assist by Stevenson.
