Coach Quinton Ferrell's first game as the Presbyterian coach came on the road at Clemson, November 7, 2019.

Coach Ferrell - Quinton Ferrell is entering his third season as head coach at Presbyterian. Ferrell was an assistant coach at Presbyterian from 2007-12. He played at Presbyterian from 2003-07. As a player, he helped Presbyterian make the 2005 Division II NCAA Tournament while posting two 20-win seasons.

Ferrell came to Presbyterian after spending five seasons (2014-19) as an assistant coach at College of Charleston under head coach Earl Grant.

Preseason First-Team All-Big South - Sophomore guard Rayshon Harrison was named preseason first-team All-Big South. Last season, he earned Big South Freshman of the Year honors after averaging a team-leading 17.2 points per game while grabbing 5.6 boards per game. Harrison

Returning Letterwinners - The Blue Hose return five starters and 11 letterwinners off last season's team. Harrison, seniors guard Brandon Younger (6.9 ppg, 4.9 rpg) and forward Winston Hill (12.1 ppg, 6.1 rpg), juniors guard Trevon Reddish-Rhone (10.2 ppg, 3.9 rpg) and forward Owen McCormack (9.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg) comprised the Blue Hose's starting lineup for the final 12 games of last season.  

Younger is a transfer from Charlotte. Reddish-Rhone is a transfer from the College of Charleston.
 
Scouting Clemson – Coach Brad Brownell is in his 12th season at Clemson. The Tigers return seven letterwinners and three starters: senior forward Hunter Tyson (7.5 ppg), junior guard Al-Amir Dawes (9.0 ppg, 2.0 rpg), and redshirt sophomore Chase Hunter (2.9 ppg) from last season's team which finished with a 16-8 record and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
