Behind a career-high scoring night from Rayshon Harrison and a double-double by Kirshon Thrash, the Blue Hose outscored Hampton 45-32 in the second half to break open a two-point game at intermission, and take the 85-70 win in the first game ... PC was led by two career-high scorers in Harrison with 24, and Brandon Younger with 18 ...

PC scored 10 in a row early in the second half to take a seven-point lead, but Hampton followed with 12 in a row late and then held on after a furious Blue Hose rally to take a 62-57 win in game two ... Winston Hill led PC with 16 points and nine rebounds ...

Due to changes in NCAA transfer rules for this season, Trevon Reddish (CofC), and Brandon Younger (UNCC) became eligible two games into the season ... Winston Hill (FMU) became eligible as well, after six games, and made an immediate impact with a double-double in his PC debut (12 pts., 12 rbds) ...

With 10 players gone from last season and just four returners, youth is a theme for the season ... Gone from last year is 85% of the scoring, 76% of the rebounding, and 79% of the assist getters ...

Rayshon Harrison has been honored as Big South Freshman of the week five times this season ... He is the leading freshman in the conference in several categories, including scoring (16.2), FG pct. (.403), FT pct. (.774), and minutes played (33.4) ... He leads the team in scoring, field goals made and attempts, 3-pointers made, defensive rebounds, and steals ...
