Asheville, N.C. – The Presbyterian College men's tennis team competed in a number of singles and doubles matches against Gardner-Webb on day one of the Asheville Invitational.
The Blue Hose posted a 4-2 record in doubles matches and edged out the Runnin' Bulldogs in singles contest, 9-7.
Highlighting the day for the Blue Hose were sophomore
Teo Cariov and newcomer
Georgije Babic, who both went 3-0 across their singles and doubles matches.
Cariov paired up with senior
Alberto Conde to pick up the doubles victory 7-5, while Babic combined with senior
Daniel Stenger for a 6-4 win.
The Blue Hose are scheduled to play singles and doubles matches against UNC Asheville tomorrow at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown

The Blue Hose return to the court on Friday, February 12, when they head to Statesboro, Georgia for a 2:30 p.m. match against Georgia Southern.
