Notes

Last Time Out...
Presbyterian began its four-match road trip with a pair of defeats at the hands of Campbell late last week. In the opener against the Camels, Anna Hewitt recorded 20 digs, reaching the 20-dig mark for the ninth consecutive contest. Allie Wright had a pair of blocks in the match to reach 317 for her Blue Hose career, which moved her into second in the program's DI era (2007-present). The following day, Wright played the 100th match of her PC career.

Chasing 1000...
Junior Erin Cooke comes into the series against Winthrop with 996 assists in her collegiate career. When she crosses the 1000 plateau, the junior will become the seventh Blue Hose to reach 1000 assists in the program's DI era. Presbyterian senior Sierra Jones was the most recent Blue Hose to reach 1000 assists, surpassing 1000 on Sept. 7, 2019 against Georgia State.

Leading the League...
Entering this week's series against Winthrop, PC boasts Big South leaders in multiple categories. Freshman libero Anna Hewitt tops the league in both total digs (242) and digs/set (5.0), while senior middle blocker Allie Wright tops the conference in total blocks (49).

Scouting the Eagles...
The reigning league champions, Winthrop is coming off of a pair of wins at Radford last week to climb back over the .500 mark. One of the better defensive teams in the Big South, the Eagles rank third in the conference in opponent's hitting percentage (.152), second in blocks/set (2.3) and first in digs/set (17.5). Individually, Morgan Bossler ranks fifth in the league with 1.1 blocks/set and libero Leah Metzger is fourth in total digs (180) and third in digs/set (4.6). Bossler is also hitting a team-best .324 this season.
