PC Drops Rain-Soaked Finale Against CSU

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College softball team waited out a nearly three-hour rain delay and then fell 8-0 to Charleston Southern in the finale of the two teams' Big South Conference series on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Charleston Southern got out to an early lead, scoring one run in the first and three more in the second to go on top, 4-0.
- The Buccaneers loaded the bases with one out in the top of the third when the game went into a two-hour and 49-minute rain delay.
- When the frame resumed after the delay, CSU tacked on a run to make it 5-0.
- A run in the fourth and two more in the fifth rounded out the afternoon's scoring.
