Notes

Last Time Out...
PC concluded its road schedule with a pair of defeats at Winthrop late last week. Both Erin Cooke (16 assists, 10 digs) and Sierra Jones (12 assists, 13 digs) notched double-doubles for the Blue Hose in the opener, with Cooke collecting her team-leading ninth of the campaign and Jones registering her fourth of the season. The Blue Hose and Eagles split the first two sets in that contest, but Winthrop won the final two to take the match and then kept the momentum going on Friday, topping PC in three sets.

1000 Club...
With her 16 assists in the series opener at Winthrop, Presbyterian's Erin Cooke surpassed 1000 career assists. In doing so, the junior became the seventh Blue Hose to collect 1000 or more assists during the program's DI era (since 2007).

Among the Leaders...
Freshman libero Anna Hewitt enters this week's series against Charleston Southern leading the Big South Conference in digs with 276, and ranks second in digs/set at 5.0. Allie Wright's 53 total blocks are tied for third-most in the league, while her 44 block assists are second-most. Wright also ranks in the top-10 in blocks/set (1.0), while Erin Cooke is inside the top-10 in kills/set (2.7).

Scouting the Bucs...
Charleston Southern is coming off of a split of its series at Gardner-Webb over the weekend, with the win in the finale snapping a three-match skid for the Buccaneers. CSU brings with it one of the top attack tandems in the conference in Dayana Chara and Paige Reagor, who are second and third, respectively, in the league in kills/set. The duo has been fed all season by Emma Minnick, whose 462 assists and 10.3 assists/set both lead the Big South.
