Men's Tennis Travels to Virginia for Two Matches

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's tennis team hits the road for its final pair of road matches of the spring beginning on Friday at 3 p.m. against Longwood before heading to Radford on Saturday for a 12 p.m. start with the Highlanders.

SCOUTING THE LANCERS
- Longwood comes into the weekend currently sitting at 5-6 overall with an 0-2 Big South record. The Lancers are set to play Radford on Thursday before hosting the Blue Hose
- Ignacio Sandoval is 7-3 this spring in singles with a perfect 5-0 record at the No. 2 singles position. Guilherme Sergio sits with a 6-3 record in singles play.
- Sergio along with Ernest Rocabert lead the Lancers in doubles with a 4-6 record overall.
- PC has won seven of the eight prior meetings with Longwood including each of the last seven matchups.

SCOUTING THE HIGHLANDERS
- Radford sits at 6-6 overall with a 2-1 Big South record heading into its matchup on Thursday with Longwood before welcoming in PC on Saturday.
- Aditya Balsekar leads the Highlanders with a 10-2 singles record with nine of those wins coming at the No. 6 position. Konstantinos Raptis sits with a 9-3 record in singles for Radford.
- Radford has a pair of doubles teams sitting with 6-5 records this spring.
- PC and Radford meet on Saturday for the 15th time in the DI era from the Highlanders owning an 11-4 mark all-time in the series.

LAST TIME OUT
- The Presbyterian College men's tennis team wrapped up its busy week of matches with a 6-1 victory on Saturday over Belmont Abbey at the Templeton Tennis Courts.

UP NEXT
- The Blue Hose close out the 2021 spring season on Friday, April 9th at 2 pm when PC welcomes in Coastal Carolina to Clinton.
