Softball Falls in Series Finale to Lancers

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College softball team dropped the rubber match of its three-game weekend series with Longwood 4-1 on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Longwood picked up the first run of the afternoon in the top of the third.
- The Lancers tacked on three more in the fifth to extend their lead to 4-0.
- Rebecca Clark led off the Presbyterian half of the fifth with a single, then scored on a Lancers' error to get the Blue Hose on the board.
- PC put two runners in scoring position in the sixth, but could not capitalize on the threat.
 
UP NEXT
Presbyterian hits the road on Tuesday for a doubleheader at College of Charleston. First pitch is slated for 3 pm.
