NOTABLES
- Haley Haselden set down the first 13 batters she faced for the afternoon and yielded just two hits as she went the distance against GWU for the second straight day. The lefty struck out seven for the afternoon. In her two starts against Gardner-Webb this weekend, Haselden gave up just three hits and struck out 14 in 13.0 innings of work.
- Rebecca Clark went 2-for-3 for PC to tie Kaitlyn Tucker for the team lead in multi-hit games with five.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After Tucker led off the game with a single, neither team had a base runner until a Clark two-out single in the fourth.
- Haselden retired the first 13 Runnin' Bulldogs she faced before a one-out homer in the fifth put GWU ahead 1-0.
- Clark and Lexi Palazzo collected back-to-back singles with one out in the seventh, but the next two Blue Hose were retired to end the threat and preserve the 1-0 win for the Runnin' Bulldogs.

UP NEXT
The Blue Hose are back out on the road next weekend, as they head to Rock Hill, S.C., for a three-game set at Winthrop on April 10-11.
