Lacrosse Drops Heartbreaker to Gardner-Webb

Boiling Springs, N.C. - Presbyterian College's Sarah Marshall capped a 5-0 run by the Blue Hose to tie the game with 45 seconds remaining, but Gardner-Webb escaped with a 12-11 win on Wednesday night at Spangler Stadium. GWU's Talen Francis (4g) netted the game winner as time expired. Marshall was the game's leading scorer with six points (3g, 3a).
