Wilson Scores in Senior Night Draw

Clinton, S.C. – Senior Michael Wilson finished off his Blue Hose career with his first goal of the spring in a 1-1 draw on Thursday afternoon against Winthrop in the Blue Hose regular-season finale at Martin Stadium.

How It Happened
- Winthrop got on the board first in the 19th minute on a goal from Michael Smith to take the 1-0 lead.
- The score remained until the 62nd minute when Michael Wilson took advantage of a corner kick from fellow senior Luca Ziegler to even the match up at one.
- Both teams had their chances down the stretch as Winthrop outshot PC 7-1 in the two overtimes but the score remained even at one ending in a draw.

By the Numbers
- PC outshot the Eagles 19-15 with a 9-7 edge in shots on frame on Thursday
- The Blue Hose held an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.
Mamadu Bah recorded a team-high six shots, while Phillimon Bedard-Khalid totaled three shots in the contest. Daniel Anani and Pedro Crespo each had two shots apiece.
- Bedard-Khalid put two of his three shots on frame to lead the Blue Hose.
