CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College volleyball team is back in action this weekend with back-to-back matches starting on Friday. The Blue Hose will take on Winthrop as the calendar turns to October, and will travel to Gardner-Webb for a Saturday afternoon tilt with the Runnin' Bulldogs.

- On Saturday, The Presbyterian College volleyball team fell to the Campbell Camels on Saturday afternoon 3-1 (18-25, 25-22, 19-25, 19-25) inside a raucous Templeton Center.

Anna Hewitt leads the league with 207 digs (4.70/set) through the Blue Hose first 12 contests. Hewitt has had 20+ digs in five matches including 24 vs Campbell last time out.
The Opponents...
Winthrop enters Friday with a 7-5 record as the Eagles offense is led by Morgan Bossler with 114 kills on the season. Leah Metzger leads the Winthrop defense with 154 digs through the Eagles 12 matches.
Gardner-Webb enters the weekend at 4-8 as the Runnin' Bulldogs face CSU before welcoming PC on Saturday. Hannah Donaldson leads the GWU offense with 85 kills, while Mikah McIntosh paces the defense with 186 digs.
Conference Leaders
- The Blue Hose sit atop the conference averaging 2.18 service aces per set through 12 contests this season. Presbyterian also ranks third in the conference in blocks with nearly two per set. PC is led by
Rylee Moorhead who leads the team with 23 aces, while
Allie Wright has 19 service aces, and
Kinsey Bailey checks in with 18.
- As a team, PC has held opponents to a .135 hitting percentage on the season which is best in the Big South and ranks 14th nationally.
Cooke Triple-Doubles...
- Senior
Erin Cooke has totaled three triple-doubles on the season which is currently tied for the top spot in the nation with Sarah Ciszek from Sacred Heart. Cooke recorded her first of the season vs Coppin State with 12 kills, 17 assists and 13 digs. She followed that up a few days later with 16 kills, 17 assists and 11 digs against Furman. Cooke's most recent triple-double occurred last weekend against Stetson with 16 kills, 21 assists and 21 digs.
