BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – In a back and forth entertaining game, the Presbyterian Blue Hose (8-10, Big South: 0-3) fell to the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs (9-7, Big South: 3-0), 64-61, in a tightly contested game on the road.

Presbyterian had three players score in double-figures led by
Rayshon Harrison's game-high 21 points.
Marquis Barnett scored a season-high 13 points while grabbing seven rebounds.
Winston Hill scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF – Gardner-Webb scored eight of the first 10 points. Presbyterian behind two baskets by Harrison scored five of the next eight points cutting the Runnin' Bulldogs lead to 11-7 with 11:13 on the clock. Gardner-Webb pushed their lead to 21-13 by scoring 10 of the next 16 points. With 4:41 left on the clock, the Blue Hose closed the half on a 19-5 run taking a 32-26 halftime lead. Harrison, Hill, Barnett, and
Kobe Stewart scored during the scoring run. A basket by Harrison with one second on the clock was the final two points of the first half.

SECOND HALF – Gardner-Webb outscored Presbyterian 16-4 over the first five minutes of the half taking a 42-36 lead with 15:13 on the clock. A three by Harrison and layups by
Terrell Ard, Jr. and Barnett gave the Blue Hose a 44-43 lead with 11 minutes on the clock. The lead exchanged hands several times over the next few minutes. With 5:21 on the clock, Barnett knocked down a three giving the Blue Hose a 53-51 lead. Gardner-Webb went on an 8-0 run taking a 59-53 lead. With one minute on the clock, Presbyterian scored seven of the next eight points cutting  Gardner-Webb's lead to 61-60 when Barnett knocked down a three from the corner with seven seconds on the clock. Gardner-Webb connected on three free throws to close out the win.

- Harrison tallied his second consecutive and his 14th career 20-point scoring game with his 21 points.
- Barnett's 13 points performance marked his first career double-digit scoring game.
- With his 10 points, Hill has now recorded 20 career double-figure scoring games.
- Presbyterian's 27 bench points was their sixth game this season with at least 23 bench points.
