BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS
  • Sophomore guard Rayshon Harrison leads Presbyterian and ranks third in the Big South Conference in scoring, averaging 17.1 points per game. Harrison averages 4.0 boards and is tied for the team lead in assists at 2.6 per game. Harrison leads the Big South in free throw percentage at 90.3 percent. 
  • Senior forward Winston Hill is second on the team in scoring at 10.9 points per game, while leading the team and ranking second in the Big South in rebounding, averaging 6.7 boards per game.
  • Junior guard Trevon Reddish-Rhone is third on the team in scoring averaging 9.2 points per game, while sharing the team lead in assists with Harrison at 2.6 per game.
  • Senior guard Brandon Younger, who scored 12 points in Presbyterian's last game, is fourth on the team in scoring, averaging 7.0 points per game.
  • Sophomore guard Kobe Stewart averages 6.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.  Stewart is tied for sixth in the Big South averaging 1.7 steals per game.
  • Junior forward Owen McCormack averages 5.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
  • Freshman guard Marquis Barnett grabbed a game-high eight rebounds in Presbyterian's last game a win over Truett McConnell.
  • Sophomore guard Kirshon Thrash recorded his second double-figure scoring game of the season off the bench with 10 points against Truett McConnell.

BIG SOUTH CONFERENCE OPENER - Wednesday's game at North Carolina A&T will be Presbyterian's Big South Conference opener.  The Blue Hose have a 5-8 all-time record in their first Big South Conference road game of the season. Presbyterian lost to Campbell, 48-46, in their Big South road opener last season, January 14, 2021. In the 2019-20 season, Presbyterian defeated Gardner-Webb, 68-62, on the road in their Big South Conference road opener, January 4, 2020.
 
WINNING NON-CONFERENCE RECORD - With the win over Truett McConnell, the Blue Hose finished their non-conference schedule with an 8-7 record. This is the fourth time in the Division I era that Presbyterian has recorded a winning record in non-conference play (2018-19: 11-9, 2017-18: 8-7, and 2011-12: 8-7).
 
OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS - Presbyterian is tied for 12th in the nation in offensive rebounds per game, averaging 14.13 offensive boards per game. The Blue Hose have grabbed at least 17 offensive rebounds in a game seven times this season. Presbyterian collected a season-high 20 offensive rebounds in their first meeting with VMI, November 12.
 
REBOUNDS - Presbyterian ranks 24th in the nation in total rebounds with 556 boards this season.
 
PRESBYTERIAN-NORTH CAROLINA A&T SERIES – The Blue Hose won the two previous meetings between the two teams. Presbyterian defeated North Carolina A&T, 75-70, on the road in their last meeting, December 1, 2018.
 
SCOUTING NORTH CAROLINA A&T
  • The Aggies are in their first season as a member of the Big South Conference so Wednesday's game marks their men's basketball team's first-ever Big South Conference game.
  • North Carolina A&T enters the game with a 5-9 record with wins over Greensboro, St. Francis Brooklyn, Carver, at ETSU, and Mid-Atlantic Christian.
  • Redshirt sophomore guard Marcus Watson leads the Aggies in scoring, averaging 12.1 points per game.
  • Junior guard Demetric Horton rounds out the Aggies double-figure scorers averaging 10.4 points per game.
  • North Carolina A&T averages 68.9 points per game while their opponents average 70.3 points per game.
  • North Carolina A&T coach Will Jones is in his third season at the helm of the Aggies program.
