Big South Weekly Award
Earlier this season, Ragnarsson was named Big South Conference Freshman of the Week (September 19). Ragnarsson was the sixth different player in the program's history to claim Big South Player of the Week honors. He also was named to College Soccer News National Team of the Week.
Hudson was Big South Defensive Player of the Week (September 12). Hudson is the fifth player in the program's history to garner Big South Defensive Player of the Week honors.
While, Stritter was named Big South Conference Freshman of the Week for two straight weeks (September 6, September 12). He is the first player in the program's history to capture multiple Big South Freshman of the Week honors.
Presbyterian-Gardner-Webb Series
Saturday's game will mark the 13
th meeting between Presbyterian and Gardner-Webb, who leads the all-time series 10-1-1. The two teams tied 3-3 in their previous meeting which came at Presbyterian on October 30, 2021.
Niklas Hoener and
Voro Rivera Peris scored goals for the Blue Hose in that game. Gardner-Webb defeated Presbyterian, 2-1, in their last meeting in Boiling Springs, N.C. on March 14, 2021.
