Big South Weekly Award
Earlier this season, Ragnarsson was named Big South Conference Freshman of the Week (September 19). Ragnarsson was the sixth different player in the program's history to claim Big South Player of the Week honors. He also was named to College Soccer News National Team of the Week.
Hudson was Big South Defensive Player of the Week (September 12). Hudson is the fifth player in the program's history to garner Big South Defensive Player of the Week honors.
While, Stritter was named Big South Conference Freshman of the Week for two straight weeks (September 6 and September 12). He is the first player in the program's history to capture multiple Big South Freshman of the Week honors.
Presbyterian-Furman Series
Tuesday's game will be the 12th meeting between Presbyterian and Furman, who leads the all-time series, 9-2. The Blue Hose defeated the Paladins at home, 3-0, in their last matchup on September 28, 2019.
Scouting Gardner-Webb
The Paladins enter the game with a 5-4-4 record with wins over Incarnate Word, Gardner-Webb, North Greenville, UNC Asheville, and Winthrop and ties against Houston Baptist, USC Upstate, Mercer, and Davidson.
Furman has scored 13 goals while allowing their opponents to score 15 goals. Alfredo Diaz-Santillan leads the team with four goals. Dylan Lane has dished out a team-leading three assists. Furman head coach Doug Allison is in his 28th season at the helm of the Paladins program.
