Crosby James and Marquis Barnett combined to score 38 points but the Presbyterian Blue Hose fell to The Citadel Bulldogs, 70-58, on the road on November 10. James recorded his first 20-point scoring game at PC with 21 points. Barnett added 17 points while also grabbing nine rebounds.

Points in the Paint
The Blue Hose scored 48 points in the paint in the win over Carolina University. PC finished the game with a 48-18 advantage in points in the paint over Carolina University. This season, the Blue Hose are averaging 37 points in the paint per game.

Coach Ferrell
Quinton Ferrell is in his fourth season as the head coach of his alma mater, Presbyterian College. Ferrell, a former Blue Hose team captain and a 2007 PC graduate, is one of 52 coaches in the NCAA Division I ranks that are coaching their alma maters.

Offensive Rebounds
Last season, Presbyterian finished 24th in the nation and first in the Big South Conference in offensive rebounds per game, averaging 12.38 offensive boards per game. This season, the Blue Hose recorded their first double-digit offensive rebounds game with 18 offensive boards against Carolina University (November 7). Jalen Forrest has grabbed seven offensive rebounds, Kobe Stewart has has collected six offensive boards, and Jaylen Peterson and Owen McCormack have grabbed five offensive boards apiece in Presbyterian's first two games. 

Presbyterian-East Carolina Series
Saturday's game will be the third-ever meeting between Presbyterian and East Carolina, who has won the previous two meetings. East Carolina defeated Presbyterian, 76-56, in their last meeting which came in Greenville, North Carolina on December 16, 2016.

Scouting East Carolina
The Pirates enter the game after a season-opening 77-75 win over Mercer at home on November 8. Sophomore forward Brandon Johnson scored 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds in that game. Sophomore guard Javon Small scored 23 points and dished out five assists.
