RALEIGH, N.C.  –  The Presbyterian Blue Hose (2-6) lost to No. 22 NC State (5-2), 7-0, on the road.

DOUBLES
NC State won two tightly contested doubles matches to capture the doubles point. At number one doubles, Presbyterian's
Max Benson and
Dusan Milanovic, who are ranked No. 47 in the ITA doubles rankings, lost to NC State's Rob Catry and Luca Staeheli in a very tightly contested match, 7-5. NC State clinched the doubles point with that win.

SINGLES
At number five singles, Presbyterian's
Sebastian Dominguez won the first set 6-3 over NC State's Braden Shick, who won the second set. Shick outlasted Dominguez in a third set super tiebreaker, 1-0, (10-8). At number one singles, Benson battled NC State's Rafa Izquierdo Luque in a 7-5, 6-2 setback.
