CHATTANOOGA, TN. – The Presbyterian College men's wrestling team went up against Chattanooga Sunday afternoon in SoCon play, falling by a 49-0 final.
Presbyterian was unable to pick up any points against the Mocs on Sunday. Benny Gomez had one of the closer matches at 125lbs, only falling by a 5-0 decision with all five points coming in the 3
rd period.
Reid Stewart was able to grab six points, but a very talented Noah Castillo won by technical fall, 21-6.
Zachary Phillips hung in his match at 165 lbs until the very end, losing by a 6-0 decision. The closest match of the day came at heavyweight where
Will Pontoon battled with Grayson Walthall, in an extra match, with the Mocs' big man coming out on top in a 4-1 decision.
