Biography

2022-23: Completed a major leap as a sophomore in the 184-lb. class, grabbing a 15-9 overall record (the second-highest figure of wins on the roster)...Earned three wins on the year by pin, including a trio of SoCon regular season victories over opponents from Davidson, Bellarmine, and VMI (the latter in a 1:56 fall)...Totaled five dual W's altogether, helping the Blue Hose reach nonconference team wins versus Brown and Truett McConnell...Followed up a 4th-place standing at the Appalachian Open (Jan. 28) with his first career championship at the Newberry Open eight days later, claiming three standard decision wins and another by MD in the tournament for a combined margin of 36-9 in those four matches.

Before PC: Was a five-start long snapper and ranked 10th in the country while attending Mount Pisgah Christian School… 2020 first-team all-region center… 2018 first team All-American… 2019 second team All-American… member of 2019, 2020 & 2021 state champion… was also a 2018 fourth place finisher in wrestling at state event… had a 236-26 record in High School... 2020 Prep Slam Champion... his father has been his biggest influence growing up as he spent countless hours helping develop him into the athlete that he is today…
