CLINTON, S.C. – Behind a strong defensive performance, the Presbyterian Blue Hose (10-13, Big South: 2-6) topped the Campbell Camels (12-8, Big South: 5-4), 64-58, at the Templeton Center.
Rayshon Harrison led the Blue Hose with 16 points.
Trevon Reddish-Rhone chipped in 12 points to go along with six rebounds.
Winston Hill grabbed 10 rebounds in the game.
Presbyterian held Campbell to 26 points and 30 percent shooting from the field in the second half.

HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF – Presbyterian scored seven of the first 11 points behind baskets by Hill and Reddish-Rhone. Campbell scored six of the next eight points taking a 10-9 lead at the fifteen-minute mark. Baskets by
Brandon Younger and
Owen McCormack pushed the Blue Hose back in front. When
Marquis Barnett connected on a free throw, the Blue Hose had their largest lead of the half, 19-14, with 9:40 on the clock. Then, Campbell went on a 10-0 run over the next four minutes taking a 24-19 lead. Presbyterian answered the Camels' run with a 10-0 run of their own capped off by a basket from Harrison giving the Blue Hose a 29-24 lead with 2:27 on the clock. Terrell Ard., Jr., scored four points and Harrison scored five points during the run. Campbell scored the final eight points of the half taking a 32-29 halftime lead.
SECOND HALF – Early in the second half, Campbell pushed their lead to 37-29 two minutes into the half. Campbell maintained the lead for the next eight and a half minutes. With Campbell leading 46-41, the Blue Hose behind a three by Younger and a dunk by Ard tied the score at 46 with 9:13 on the clock. The two teams exchanged baskets. With 6:52 on the clock, Reddish-Rhone connected on a free throw giving the Blue Hose a 50-49 lead. Presbyterian did not relinquish the lead for the rest of the game. With 1:16 on the clock, Harrison connected on two free throws giving the Blue Hose a 59-52 lead. Campbell cut Presbyterian's lead to three points with 27 seconds on the clock. The Blue Hose closed out the victory with timely free-throw shooting down the stretch.
NOTES
- Harrison's 16 points marked his 19th double-digit scoring game of the season and the 38th of his career.
- Reddish-Rhone's 12 points were his 11th double-figure scoring game of the season and the 21st of his career.
- For the third time this season, Hill grabbed double-figure rebounds with his 10 boards.
- Barnett scored nine points on 3-for-4 shooting from the field.
- Ard scored eight points on 4-for-5 shooting while grabbing five rebounds.
