BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS
- Sophomore guard Rayshon Harrison, who scored 23 points at UNC Asheville last Saturday, leads the Blue Hose and ranks second in the Big South Conference in scoring averaging 17.0 points per game. Harrison leads the team in assists at 3.0 per game.
- Senior forward Winston Hill, who scored 13 points at UNC Asheville, is second on the team in scoring at 11.9 points per game while leading the team and ranking third in the Big South in rebounding averaging 6.5 boards per game.
- Junior guard Trevon Reddish-Rhone, who scored 11 points at UNC Asheville, is third on the team in scoring averaging 8.8 points per game and second on the team in assists at 2.8 per game.
- Senior guard Brandon Younger, who scored 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds off the bench at UNC Asheville, is fourth on the team in scoring averaging 5.9 points per game.
- Sophomore guard Kobe Stewart, who scored 11 points in the win over Charleston Southern last Wednesday, averages 5.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. Stewart ranks in the top 15 in the Big South in steals averaging 1.2 per game.
- Junior forward Owen McCormack averages 4.7 points.
- Freshman guard Marquis Barnett, who scored 14 points against UNC Asheville on the road, averages 7.5 points per game in Big South Conference play.
- Redshirt freshman forward Terrell Ard, Jr. has recorded two straight double-digit scoring games with his 14 points at UNC Asheville.
OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS - Presbyterian ranks 36th in the nation in offensive rebounds per game, averaging 12.19 offensive boards per game. The Blue Hose have grabbed at least 17 offensive rebounds in a game seven times this season. Presbyterian collected a season-high 20 offensive rebounds in their first meeting with VMI, November 12. Presbyterian has recorded double-figure offensive rebounds in 22 games this season.
STEALS AND TURNOVERS FORCED - Presbyterian's defense has forced an average of 15.42 turnovers per game which ranks 30th in the nation. The Blue Hose average 8.0 steals per game which ranks first in the Big South and 49th in the NCAA.
HARRISON AMONG NATION'S LEADERS IN FREE THROW PERCENTAGE - Harrison ranks 60th in the nation and second in the Big South in free throw percentage shooting 85.1 percent from the line.
PRESBYTERIAN-CAMPBELL SERIES – Wednesday's game marks the 22nd meeting between Presbyterian and Campbell, who leads the all-time series 15-6. The Blue Hose defeated the Camels, 64-58, in their only meeting during the regular season which was played at Presbyterian's Templeton Center on February 2. Harrison scored 16 points. While, Reddish-Rhone scored 12 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists. Wednesday's first-round Big South Conference Tournament game will be the second time in the two program's history that they have played in the Conference Tournament. Campbell defeated Presbyterian, 81-73, in overtime in the first round of the tournament at the HTC Center in Conway, South Carolina on March 5, 2013.
SCOUTING CAMPBELL
- Senior guard Cedric Henderson leads Campbell in scoring averaging 14.1 points per game. Senior guard Jordan Whitfield is second on the team in scoring at 11 points per game. Senior guard Rickey Clemons rounds out the Camels double-digit scorers at 10.1 points per game. Henderson leads the team in rebounding at 5.6 boards per game.
- Campbell leads the Big South Conference in scoring defense limiting their opponents to 61.9 points per game.
- Coach Kevin McGeehan is in his ninth season at the helm of the Camels program.
